Shelter cat enters another cat cage, and the two quickly become the best of friends
These two shelter cats in Massachusetts suddenly become the best of friends. They had quite different lifestyles before they entered the shelter, but once they met, their bonds were unbreakable. The tale of Method Man and Jack Daw is presented here. In search of a second chance at life, two stray kittens came to Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Despite being discovered all by themselves in two distinct locations, they ended up in the same facility.
According to Liz of Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society, “Jack Daw was a stray from the Swansea, MA area who came to us via a rescue group down there, and Method Man was a stray from the Salem, MA region who came to us via an individual rescuer who does a lot of work in that area.”

These two beautiful black cats, who were born a month apart, had never met before they were put in a cat condo on different floors. The six-month-old kitten Method is playful and lively, but she does not particularly enjoy being held or petted. Although Jack is somewhat quiet, he loves attention and enjoys being held. Liz told Catsmeowlovers that Method had become weary of being alone and had pushed the litter box from the apartment above him out of the way.
Jack merely hopped down to the lower level where Method was when one of the workers removed the litter box. The adorable cat greeted his friend and gave him plenty of cuddles since he was so delighted to see him. They connected well right away, and they have been together ever since. The two brothers, who have very different mothers, adore being around one another.
This Cat Can’t Stop Smiling After Being Adopted By The Family
Despite having two very different personalities, they perfectly balance one another. Method, who hates being by himself, is now thrilled to have a buddy by his side. He doesn’t appear to mind being loved on and cuddled, even though that he doesn’t particularly enjoy being held. Jack is happy to have a pet partner to cuddle with every day!
