The kitten was abandoned before a cat took him in as a member of her family
Animal rights activists from Best Friends Felines brought in a cat with needing kittens a few weeks ago. “Eleni (the cat) was very afraid of humans when she first came to us,” says Nikki from Best Friends Felines, “but that only lasted a couple of days, and she changed into a purr.”
A good mother released herself and allowed the guardians of her four adorable children to help. When we pet her, she starts purring right away. She is quite trustworthy.
A four-week-old lonely baby named Flavian visited the animal rights activists at this time, seeking for motherly love. Nikki explains, “He was found all by himself and sent to the veterinary facility. His extraordinary thinness was noted by the vets. Cried out for somebody to come help the baby. We decided to only adopt a kitten if Eleni agrees because he would have an equally aged mother and brothers.
When they first met, Eleni noticed the lonely cat. She walked up to him, gave him a couple quick sniffs, and then softly licked him. According to Nikki, “Eleni accepted Flavian immediately and started to lick him within a second. Flavian quickly merged into the family and was treated as one of them.
He welcomed his new mommy, fell asleep with his paws around her, and followed after her everywhere she went. And sweet Eleni gave the kitten a lot of love while appearing to know what he required. From the moment he arrived, Eleni showed him more care than she did for her own kids, as if to make up for the washings and cuddles he missed.
Four kittens quickly warmed up to their new sibling and began chasing and battling each other as they ran around the room. He is fully accepted by Eleni, who also looks after him, he plays and sleeps with the new brothers and cuddles up to her. Flavian is old enough to eat on his own and is not interested in mother’s milk, so when Eleni feeds her other sons, he usually plays with his mother or simply gives her a hug.
One week older than Eleni’s kittens, Flavian acts as the team’s mentor and acts as an older brother type. He quickly taught the other kittens how to use the litter box, and they all hurried to give it a try. The kittens were able to start eating on their own and carefully crush their meals because of the guardians’ help and attention, as well as the sea of love. They eat more and get stronger.
The five children enjoy chasing Eleni’s mother’s tail while running around the room, according to Nikki. They enjoy cuddling, both with people and with other animals. I usually notice them in a fluffy, friendly shape next to Eleni. Flavian has grown into a confident, entertaining cat. His stepmother has taken excellent care of him, and he has grown. His personality is getting a good one.
