After Being Held Inside a Shipping Container, a Cat Survives on Candy
Although cats are known to have many adventures, nothing comes close to this tale of a Ukrainian cat. A story of a kitten that survived on one of its ships by just eating candy was published by a Ukrainian company named Star Shine Shipping in the middle of January.
The kitten, you see, accidentally got locked inside one of the containers and travelled 3,050 kilometers from Ukraine to Israel. It survived the three-week journey by grazing on sweets because there was no cat food in the container. The fact that the kitten survived in perfect health despite the lack of drinking water shocked everyone the most.
Star Shine Shipping began searching into the matter. Other than the cat’s interest, no one was at fault. One day on the dock, it was captured on CCTV entering one of the containers. It travelled on the well-known travels while being locked up by the staff. Luckily, it survived the fall. Although we’re quite happy with how everything turned out, we’re not sure how the cat will be impacted by all that sweets in the long run. That cat is very tough.
