When my cat knows he’s handsome and this is his expression
When my cat knows he’s good-looking, he acts like he’s hiding something from everyone. His face changes into a fascinating mix of self-assurance and casualness. This is a sign of the feline confidence that we all quietly admire. His eyes, which are usually bright emerald green, shine even brighter, as if to say, “Yes, I know I’m beautiful.”
It’s in the way he walks around the house as if it were his own personal runway, with an elegant, almost royal stance. His tail, which is held high and curved with a quiet ease, seems to wave like a sign of his natural beauty. The hair on his chest puffs out a little more, making a natural ruff that frames his face and gives him an air of sophistication.
But it’s in the way he looks at you that you can really tell he knows he’s beautiful. When he looks at you, his almond-shaped eyes seem to show a hint of humor, as if he’s letting you share in his glory. He blinks slowly, which is almost a seductive move that makes you feel strangely pleased, as if you just got to talk to the king of cats.
When he wants attention, he will walk up to you and demand it. He will expect you to scratch his head and rub his chin. He purrs happily, as if to say that yes, you are lucky to be able to pet such a beautiful animal.
At those times, you can’t help but be impressed by how sure he is of himself. He tells you that confidence is attractive, even if it comes in the form of a cat. So, when I look at my handsome cat, I can’t help but smile, knowing that the fact that he knows he’s beautiful is just one more cute thing that makes me love him even more.
