Dog and his best friend spend some quiet time watching birds
Bo the beagle and Jasper the cat were unfamiliar with one another when they first met. The tiny dog was naturally scared, particularly when there was a cat about. Jasper was also uncertain whether he could trust the family’s newest addition. Although Lisa Olsen-Plummer was aware that it would take some time for them to get along, she had no idea how quickly they would bond.
In the beginning, Olsen-Plummer said to The Dodo, “Jasper was particularly scared of Bo.” He watched from a distance before approaching Bo and putting an arm around him one day. “It was almost as if he were telling him, ‘It’s OK!'” Olsen-Plummer said. “I think Bo picked up loving there.”
The boys have been playing together quite a bit ever since, being as close as brothers can be. Olsen-Plummer said, “They play rough and push each other. Just as with children,” “sometimes it results in a quarrel, and I have to separate them.”

The depth of Bo and Jasper’s friendship is only clear to their mother during the more personal times, though. The two like relaxing on the sofa together and gazing out the window at the neighborhood birds when they aren’t fighting.

Last week, Olsen-Plummer was in her living room when a wonderful thing took place: Bo climbed onto the sofa and sat next to Jasper. He then wrapped Jasper in his arm and showered him with love. Olsen-Plummer was lucky to have her phone with her.
Olsen-Plummer told ViralHog that “they were taking in the lovely day and watching the birds.” I was happy to record this wonderful instance of two animals showing affection for one another. The video has since gained popularity and spread the idea that all it takes to be happy is a good friend and a sunny day.
