Cat Finds a Stray Kitten and Tries to convince the Family to Adopt Him
Klarieke already had three cats in her family, she adored them all, but she had always kept that three was enough and that there was plenty of fluff to go around. Then Charlie appeared!
Klarieke lives in the Netherlands with her family. Stavros, Jack, and Louis are their three adult cats. Stavros was rescued from Greece about a year ago, and his experience living on the streets has made him the group’s streetwise leader.

Then one day, a shy and skinny kitten appeared in their backyard, no one had seen him before, and they weren’t sure if he belonged to anyone. Klarieke noticed Stavros hanging out with the little kitten and that the two of them were becoming friends.
Stravros kept a close eye on the little kitten every time he entered the yard, and she frequently saw them playing together.
Stavros’s past as a stray street cat may have made him protective of the kitten, and as a result, their friendship progressed, and they often cuddled up together for a nap in the shed.
When Klarieke was feeding her three cats one day, she noticed that Stavros wasn’t eating, and when she looked across, she saw that he’d offered his dinner to the kitten, who was happily chewing away. This sweet kitty didn’t mind sharing his food because he knew what it was like to be hungry after living as a street cat for so long.

He used to run away whenever there were humans around, but Klarieke decided it was time to put out an extra bowl for the kitten, and soon he was brave enough to come in and eat with them. Nobody came to argue the kitten, and he spent more time with Stavros. So they named him Charlie, and Stavros soon showed him around his new home. They travelled everywhere together.
He was still cautious of humans, but they managed to get him to the vet, where he received a clean bill of health. He still prefers to spend the majority of his time with Stavros, but he is beginning to come out of his shell.
Charlie is a lovely kitten who had no idea when he walked into that yard one day that it would become his forever home with a loving family of cats and humans. He’ll unquestionably be living the VIP life from now on.
