My feline friend is the ultimate gentle giant who rivals the height of my four-year-old
This large cat can scale any “meowntain”! Russian native Yuliya Minina, who hails from Stary Oskol, believes that Kefir, her 3-year-old Maine Coon cat, is the largest cat in the entire globe. She posts images and videos of Kefir’s unmistakable size on his TikTok page as well as on Instagram.
Kefir can be seen standing on his hind legs and opening a door handle in a well-liked video she posted on her Instagram account that has gotten over 2,000 likes. Then, after lounging in the grass like a huge cat-erpillar, he occupies a portion of a recliner and climbs a tree. Cat lovers have a need to pause and provide feedback on this amazing content!
This cat stands at a height that is nearly equal to that of a four-year-old girl.
Meet Kefir, a gorgeous Maine Coon feline!
Kefir appears driven to surpass all other cats in size! This was clear from a photo that the Instagram user @yuliyamnn shared. The kitty in the picture is very lovely!
“Wow!” cried one happy admirer, while another praised Kefir’s intelligence. When Minina was preparing meals in the kitchen in a video she posted on Instagram a year ago, Kefir was as tall as her 4-year-old child.

Kefir is a large cat that was given the name because of its likeness to the creamy milk beverage and white fur. Kefir’s present size is unknown, but in 2022, when he was just two years old and weighed more than 28 pounds, he attracted a lot of media attention. This weight surpasses that of a toddler or a typical Maine Coon! Male Maine Coons typically weigh around 18 pounds, while females weigh about 12 pounds. These cats average three feet in length, including their tail.

Minina told SWNS in 2022 that she was blown away by the growth of Kefir from an apparently ordinary kitten to such a sizable cat. The fact that Maine Coons can keep growing for up to 3–4 years suggests that Kefir may still be growing and could even get even bigger.

Kefir’s owner loves capturing his cute moments and post them on her social media channels. She regularly shares images of her furry pet with her followers.
Minina’s cat Kefir has the unusual ability to stand on his hind legs and easily access anything. Due to his playful personality and calm demeanor, this lovely cat frequently gets mistaken for a dog. Kefir is a kind and humble pet who has grown up to be huge and smart, despite his scary appearance. However, because of his height and preference for climbing on Minina to sleep at night, he can occasionally make it unpleasant for her to take cat naps with him.
