The Amazing Transformation of a 19-Year-Old Cat’s Black Fur into a Marble Coat Due to Rare Skin Condition
When you get a cat, you expect that the colour of its fur will stay the same for its whole life. But a man named David was surprised when his beloved black cat Scrappy started getting white spots on his dark fur when he was seven years old. This strange thing is probably caused by vitiligo, a rare skin disease that makes cats’ fur look marbled.
Even though he was told he had cancer, Scrappy is a happy, healthy 19-year-old cat who still fights with other cats in the neighbourhood. David takes shots of his furry friend Scrappy every day and writes about what he does and how he looks. Scrappy isn’t always the best model, though. Still, people all over the internet love Scrappy and his enthusiasm for life. Look at what he looked like before and after he changed.
On the left, you can see a picture of me when I was 5 years old. I was innocent and interested in the world around me. On the right, I’m all grown up and ready to take on all of life’s obstacles at age 17. It’s crazy how quickly time goes by and how much we can change as we age. When I look back on my life, I’m thankful for all the things that have made me who I am today.
