The Cat Chooses you, You Don’t Choose The Cat
A tiny ginger kitten visited PotatoWasteland (PW), an Imgur user, as he was getting into his car after work. That evening, the temperature dropped below freezing, so he picked her up, walked inside, grabbed a box, and brought her home for the evening.
She spent the night in my garage because I didn’t know anything about her, according to PW. I’ve never met a cat as soft. I would be bringing her to the animal shelter the following day and posting on Facebook in the hopes that her owners would come find her.
She wasn’t chipped, so she was likely a stray, but our local shelter has a hard time getting rid of kittens because it is overrun with cats.
As you can see, she looked to enjoy the ride to the shelter and even found time to take a quick sleep. “Go home! She isn’t quite two pounds yet, so the shelter allowed me to keep her as a foster cat. Within a week or two, I’ll bring her back for a neuter and another shot, and if she does fulfil the weight requirement, I’ll be able to adopt her officially.
She soon grew a liking for the sunshine. The life of a cat was not my choice. The cat life picked me. I love rescue tales with happy endings, and I believe that Kitty already knew that this man would become her lifelong partner.
