Without a mother this cat would have died next to a fence alone but look at him now!
Kittens need a week to ten days after birth to fully open up their days, as you are probably already aware. For weeks thereafter, they struggle with their vision, which is entirely normal. Imagine finding a kitten that is only a few hours old. Kittens are highly sensitive and require special care at this stage of their growth. Exactly that was found by one Imgur user.
One day, while bmusser (a user of Imgur) was leaving for home from work, he heard a faint cry coming from the bushes close by. He climbed the fence and spotted a little kitten with closed eyelids and a still-attached umbilical cord! It was clear that his mother had just given birth, yet she was nowhere to be seen.
They took the kitten to the clinic the following day, who confirmed it wasn’t more than a few days old. Although his eyes and ears were closed, his umbilical cord naturally separated. The veterinarian advised them that because the cat doesn’t have his mother with him, he needs special care.
Unlike other animals, kittens grow quite quickly, and Casper didn’t show his early signs of growth for several days. He typically naps on our feet or shoulders, according to bmusser.
Casper’s chances started to look lot better after a week. As soon as his eyes opened, he began eating on his own, and in a few weeks, Casper was doing typical cat things.
Because adventures are both enjoyable and difficult, Casper keeps taking naps. Along with his parents, he had a buddy on his journey. Look at him today, Casper has grown into a lovely young kid who enjoys playing with his parents.
Casper is entirely independent two and a half months later, although his continued attempts to sleep on his father’s shoulders. Look at the lovely cat right here.
