A family ready to help finds a cat with a black mark on its face
Tortilla, a beautiful calico cat, understood that all she had ever known would change when she was thirteen years old. After her owner had left, she was unfortunately found in an apartment a few months ago. She was suddenly sitting in a kennel at a nearby animal shelter, hoping to be rescued.
The staff at the shelter asked for assistance by reaching out to the rescue community. The Odd Cat Sanctuary offered to take her in when they heard about her situation. The founder of the Odd Cat Sanctuary, Tara, said of the cat: “She was quite adorable, purring, head-butting, and just wanted love.”
Her tongue always sticks out. It’s believed that she was born this way. She is really cute. The rescue immediately placed Tortilla with a foster family so that she would grow there while they started seeking for a forever home. Tortilla started exploring her new room right after after breaking out of her shell. Before they knew it, the calico cat’s loud purrs had the engine going nonstop all day.
After 433 days, the unwanted cat is finally adopted
The cute cat, being the most faithful worker, started to follow her foster mother around the house after becoming extremely close to her. The entire room would be filled with her purring as she would gaze at her foster mother with her tongue hanging.

She is hilarious, loving, unique, and lively. For her mother’s pleasure, she enjoys hugging and telling jokes, according to Tara. Tortilla got along well with the local cats and dogs once she was ready to interact with other animals. She showered them with kisses and purrs because she was so happy to be there.
Tortilla, who is 13 years old, still has the heart of a kitten. She gets attention by rolling on her back, blowing raspberries, and pumping her paws. Her foster family could see how much they grew to like the gorgeous calico each day.

Tortilla entered foster care in the hope that the right family would appear. In the end, she had already located it. Her foster family fell in love with her the moment she stepped out of her container. Her characteristics, purrs, recognizable appearance, and charming attitude won them over on the first day.
They were unable to part with the gorgeous calico cat, so they adopted her permanently. Tortilla now has two feline sisters, a canine brother, and caring humans to spend the rest of her life with.
